Sarkodie Tells Fans to Shun Toxic Rivalries Amid Stonebwoy Feud

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has urged his fans to reject toxic rivalries, according to NewsGhana. The call came as a social media clash between Sarkodie and fellow Ghanaian artist Stonebwoy continued to draw attention online.

NewsGhana reported the appeal under the headline "Sarkodie Urges Fans To Reject Toxic Rivalries." DancehallMag, in a separate report, described the exchange between the two musicians as a social media clash and said it covered what is known about the incident.

The dispute has pulled in others. Yen News reported that fans challenged Stonebwoy's manager over a claim concerning someone named Angel, with fans asking for the call log. GhanaWeb reported that fellow artist Sista Afia reacted to the feud by saying she loves the beef.

Modern Ghana, meanwhile, reported comments from DJ Slim, who said Stonebwoy disagreed with Sarkodie's call for artists to stop disrespecting one another. That account suggests the two musicians are not aligned on how the matter should be handled.

Sarkodie's message to fans, as reported by NewsGhana, focuses on the behaviour of supporters rather than the dispute itself. The other outlets reporting on the episode have concentrated on the back-and-forth between the artists and the reactions it has generated within Ghana's music scene.

What to watch next is whether Stonebwoy or his representatives respond directly to Sarkodie's call for fans to avoid toxic rivalries, and whether the exchange cools or escalates from here.
